I took my Mom and the kids to Zia's on the hill Thursday to celebrate the fact that she is done with the whole cancer mess. She loves Italian food and had never been there before, so it was time she went! After that we went to Gringo Jones and looked around because we both like the place a lot. We didn't find anything that we could afford, but the kids thought that a few things were neat, especially the fact that they have 4 dogs walking around loose in the store. After that we went to the Cupcakery behind Chase Park Plaza. It was kinda hard to find, but the cupcakes were very delicious! The kids both got confetti kind (sprinkles on top), my mom tried the red velvet, and I did the tuxedo (chocolate with buttercream icing on top). We had a good day together!
